NON RYA PRACTICAL COURSES
Additionally at Miramar Sailing School we have recognised a need for non RYA Scheme training to offer other options to our students that mesh nicely with the RYA Scheme. These are:
- Cruising & Mile Building – cruise in 4 major sailing regions, build the miles and learn from the experience.
- Yachtmaster Preparation with Exam – these are not official RYA courses although the do follow the RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Syllabus. They are endorsed by the RYA as an excellent means of honing skills and preparing candidates for examination.
- Sailing Skills Clinics – for “rusty sailors” who need a little brushing up in certain skills.
- “Girls go Sailing” – inspired by Pippa and a course that basically speaks for itself!
