COURSE FEES: US$915 / lady
The concept of groups of women gathering together on a regular basis to exchange views, ideas, and even gossip, has grown to become one of the essential ingredients of the female life style. Over a few drinks, family, fashion, cosmetics, and even men, are favourite topics of conversation, to name a few.
Miramar Sailing offers this scenario through their recently introduced Girls Go Sailing website.
The goal is to encourage, and empower women, by building confidence through expert training and hands on experience in the company of other like minded women.
Through Girls Go Sailing we offer:
- Formal RYA training with certification following the RYA Yachtmaster (Sail) Scheme.
- Fun combinations of Course ‘n Cruise training holidays in the beautiful Caribbean.
- Relaxed Cruising Vacations so that girls who wanna’ have fun can do just that!
Our all girl crews can learn as much, or as little as they want.
Imagine a week of relaxed learning, chatting, sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling, shore side excursions, and sundowners in the company of like-minded girls in our tropical Caribbean climate. What you do is up to you!!
On our Girls Go Sailing weeks, Pippa the Skippa will be your host and there will be no males aboard. We cannot, however, commit to no males ashore!
Our Girls Go Sailing packages are available to minimum groups of 2 ladies for all Training Courses, and Cruising Holidays.
Discounts / student:
- 5% – 2 students on the same course.
- 7.5% – 3 students on the same course.
- 10% – 4 students, or more, on the same course.

Course Content: As much, or as little training as you want, plus lots of fun!
Course Duration: 09:00 Monday – 09:00 Saturday
Student/Instructor Ratio
- 5/1 maximum. We aim for 4/1 but cannot guarantee.
Availability:
- All year round Sundays to Thursdays subject to prior bookings
- Reserve your dates.
Discounts
- 5% – 2 students on the same course OR 2 consecutive courses booked.
- 7½% – 3 students on the same course OR 3 consecutive courses booked.
- 10% – 4 students on the same course OR 4 consecutive courses booked.
