J-aguar is a J-120 on steroids!
She has a “T” bulb keel and deeper rudder. With a cleverly optimised sail wardrobe she manages to rate lower lower than a standard J-120.
Her layout is unusual with 3 cabins (1 forward and 2 aft) instead of the usual 2. However we encourage on shore accommodation during events as her interior is spartan and basic for overnights on board. Apart from anything else we need her to be competitive when racing and not load up with unnecessary gear!
Her sails are Quantum and Ullman carbon racing sails, with A2 and A3 kites at 145 sq.m. and 122 sq.m.
We encourage pre event practice days which are not limited. We want the yacht to perform well for you and our professional skipper on board will provide all the local advice you require regarding tactics, wind, currents and the competition! He will also be on hand to sort out the occasional technical issues that arise.
We offer delivery to and from event venues but if our booked crew care to join this they are most welcome!
