Sailing on “The “Pond”
Commonly known by sailors as “The Pond”, the Atlantic Ocean is a challenge to anyone.
We all know about the relatively benign downwind conditions an east – west ARC passage can give at the end of each year, but there are many facets to the Atlantic.
Sailing across the Gulf Stream from Nova Scotia to Bermuda, sailing with the same body of water from Newport or Halifax to the Azores or Gran Canaria. These are more testing passages that reward any sailor with a lot of satisfaction.
We offer these passages and more as our Race Partner Fleet traverse “The Pond” in both directions.
Will you accept the challenge?
