“Red Baron” is a Serendipity 43 designed by Doug Peterson and built by New Orleans Marine. This design is one of the most successful IOR racing Designs.
The first yacht built “Scarlet O’Hara” was a winner at the 1983 SORC series, and a number of sister ships achieved similar success.
“Red Baron” first belonged to Tom Hill in Puerto Rico and was originally named “Titan 3”. Tom is a very well known racing sailor and campaigned her successfully through many Caribbean regattas.
We are delighted to be offering this completely refitted (2014) yacht to our racing fleet for the Caribbean Regatta Circuit.
Being a Sail Training vessel in our RYA recognised Training Centre, "Danae" is not only subject to the rigorous RYA/MCA RGN1 Safety Guidelines, she is also subject to the Caribbean Small Commercial Vessel Code (SCV) and is inspected by both the RYA and the Antigua Department of Marine Services annually.
